MARGARET (PEGGY) M. NACLERIO October 9, 1941 – December 13, 2025 Newburgh, NY
Margaret M. Naclerio, of Newburgh, NY entered into eternal rest on December 13, 2025 at her daughter's home in Walden, NY. She was 84 years old.
The daughter of the late Charles L. Anderson and Emily (Hunter) Anderson, Margaret was born on October 9, 1941 in Newburgh, NY.
Margaret was a Newburgh Free Academy graduate, then continued her education at the Grassland School of Nursing Westchester Medical Center. Upon graduation she was a Registered Nurse at the infirmary for nuns at the Mount in Newburgh. She then went on to work at St. Luke's Hospital while working on her Masters in Healthcare Management, all while raising her three children. She worked many years as Assistant Director of Nursing at Cornwall Hospital. She finished her career working as a nurse for Hospice of Orange and Sullivan.
Mom was a caring and loving mother who always put her family first. While she cherished many roles in her life, the one she loved the most was grandmother. Her unconditional love, strength, kindness, and grace made us who we are today. She was our rock, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue to guide us.
Margaret will be forever remembered by her son: David Naclerio and wife Trina; daughter: Tammy (Naclerio) Gross and husband Reggie; by her grandchildren: Tommy and Rachel Naclerio and Justin, Ethan, Joshua, and Tara Gross; sisters-in-law: Ronnie Casnocha and her husband Rich, Mickey Ball and her husband Allan, Theresa Naclerio and Renee Naclerio; brother-in-law: Michael Naclerio and wife Mimi; many cousins, nieces, and nephews, especially niece: Tracy Hecht who was like another daughter to her; her cherished nieces from Texas: Jill, Megan, and Martha; and by her cousin-in-law: Sandy Seneca, her yard sale/thrift store shopping buddy.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty-three years: Thomas J. Naclerio in 2015 and her son: Timothy Naclerio in 2013; brother: Robert Anderson; sister: Jean Maloney; brother-in-law: Thomas Maloney; nephew: Tommy Maloney; brother-in-law: James Naclerio; and brother-in-law: George Naclerio.
A Graveside Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10th at the Bethlehem Cemetery, Route 94, Salisbury Mills, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan.
